eg you book an appointment with dentist in app, you get a reminder day of appointment from system so you dont miss it.
eg you buy a t-shirt from a vendor online, they have our shipping module linked to their POS/Online store, so you get updates on delivery in notifications like processing, shipped, delivered.

eg you book a table at a restaurant, you get option to check in , ie you are in geo location and can notify by app that you are here and ready for table, or this could be automatic, in the POS the staff have option to send you push notification your table is ready and you should return to counter, ( this allows them to get rid of the buzzers they hand out )
